Torrance + McKenna has partnered with interior designers of the highest calibre to deliver an in-home interior design service that means clients can discuss all topics related to sofa selection and customisation in the comfort of their own home.

Topics for discussion with our designers may include fabric/leather selection, lifestyle considerations, sizing (both for the comfort of people and the intended space), comfort options, trend/stylistic advice and finishing options.

If required, our interior designers can also provide you with tips on how to complement the sofa with soft furnishings, new wall hangings and recommended interior considerations that will ‘pull together’ a cohesive look for the room.

The focus for our designers is to ensure your sofa not only meets your lifestyle and comfort needs, but has the stylistic impact you may be seeking. The consultation is a simple process, consisting of the following stages:
The Process
Our designer will call you to discuss your requirements and gather relevant details prior to the in-home visit. If you have photos of the room where the sofa will be placed, or a floorplan that includes dimensions, we request these prior to the in-home visit.
Our designer will spend an hour at your home discussing your design aesthetic, lifestyle, comfort needs, vision and budget. 
Following this appointment, our designer will develop a customised proposal for you, which includes:

- Sofa customisation specifications/recommendations
- Layout/ floorplan with dimensions
- Comfort specifications
- Fabric selection details (including swatch examples)
- Stitching and other finishes (if required)
- Leg choice and stain colour

Service is offered for up to two sofas/armchairs and up to two occasional pieces.

Your investment
Our interior design service is just $435 (inc GST) and is available in Perth metro and surrounding areas. The cost of the consultation will be deducted from any purchase exceeding $3,500 (plus GST) following the consultation.

The service is offered within a 25km radius of Perth CBD (GPO). For consults outside of this area, travel fees may apply. Please enquire for more information. 

Should you require further assistance with our interior designer after the initial consultation an hourly fee is applicable and will be negotiated directly with the designer.
