If you are designing your living space with the intention of keeping things constant for years to come it may be an idea to invest in a timeless, classic design as you can be confident that in time, the style will still be relevant. This is a great approach to take as these pieces can become treasured family heirlooms that can be passed down through the family. On the other hand, if you stay current with evolving trends and are keen to continue that way, it makes perfect sense to find a current trend that you like and design your space around this, keeping in mind that you may need to update your furnishings at some stage in the future if you decide upon another trend.
What is my budget? It’s always good to have a clear idea of how much you wish to invest, not just on your lounge setup, but on the interior design of your entire living space.
